What do we do at Allegheny Coatings Fremont?
Allegheny Coatings applies anti-corrosion finishes to metals parts to prevent rust. We are a metal protection applicator specializing in the application of zinc flake and zinc-aluminum coating systems. We do rack spray and dip-spin processing.

What are Allegheny Coatings’ normal working hours?

1st shift: 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM

3rd shift: 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM
We work 4 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, at the Fremont location.

When and how often do hourly workers get paid?
Hourly employees are paid bi-weekly (every other Friday).

What are the qualifications needed for a production position?

What is a Profit-Sharing Bonus?
If Allegheny Coatings reaches its annual goal of profitable revenue for the year, we share that profit with our employees. This Profit-Sharing Bonus can be up to 10% of the employees’ annual wages.

When is an employee eligible for 401(k) contribution?
The Company automatically enrolls all full-time employees into our 401(k)-retirement program on the 1st of the month following 2 months of service. Open enrollment periods are on the 1st day of each month thereafter.

What is a 401(k) Match?
The Company pays $.50 on every dollar the employee contributes up to 6% of the employee’s pay.

When is an employee eligible for insurance benefits?
The Company offers enrollment into our health insurance and our voluntary insurance benefits (i.e., dental, vision, STD, life, etc.) to all full-time employees on the 1st of the month following 2 months of service. Open enrollment is held annually.

Who is eligible to receive health insurance benefits, besides the employee?
Health insurance is available to the employee’s spouse and dependent children.

How much PTO (paid time off) do you receive in the first year of employment?
The employee will receive 40 hours of PTO for the year after the completion of his/her trial period (520 hours). The amount of PTO will be prorated the first year based on the employees start date.
